What you’ll do
- Design, build, and deploy new core smart contracts.
- Brainstorm and ideate innovative protocol designs that push the boundaries of DeFi opportunities.
- Work closely with external auditing teams, incorporating their feedback to improve the security and performance of our smart contracts.
- Assess and evaluate Layer 2 solutions and other scaling technologies.
- Develop full stack solutions, including frontend and backend components, to ensure seamless user experience and integration with our smart contracts.
- Continuously stay informed about the latest trends and developments in the DeFi, Web3, and NFT ecosystems.
Job requirements
- At least 6 years of experience as a developer, with 3+ years specifically in building secure and production-grade smart contracts in Solidity.
- Demonstrated experience deploying smart contracts with significant value held. Strong understanding of the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM), DeFi, Web3, and NFT ecosystems.
- Proficient problem-solving skills and a keen interest in developing complex smart contracts.
- Extensive experience in full stack development, showcasing proficiency in frontend frameworks (e.g. React, Angular, Vue.js) and backend technologies (e.g. Node.js, Django, Ruby on Rails).
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with team members in a remote or on-site setting. Preferred candidates are located and working within +/- 2h CST time zone for coordination purposes.

- Strong communication skills and fluent in German (written and spoken).
